On the evening of July 23, under the intermingling of bright stars and melodious melody, Tianfu Concert Hall of Chengdu European Center witnessed the successful holding "Panda's Singing" Chengdu(international)Children's Chorus Week 2024. Ten outstanding domestic and foreign children's choirs from France, New Zealand, South Korea, Macao, Chongqing and Chengdu gathered together. With their pure and flawless Sing, superb singing skills and rich stage performance, they presented a musical feast that crossed national boundaries and integrated diverse cultures. From classical to ethnic, from popular to original, various styles of music are presented on the stage, showing the infinite charm and profound heritage of children's chorus art.
The music festival began with melodious violin solos and poetic narration, and the atmosphere was warm and solemn. From South Korea, the Gimcheon City Boys and Girls Choir brought "Star" and "Jajangmyeon I never Forget", showing the unique charm of Korean culture vividly; New Zealand's Chuang Teana Children's Choir with "Matariki" and "I See a Star" let the audience feel the freshness and freedom of Oceania music. Macau Fujian School Choir, Macau Pui Ching Secondary School Choir and other Chinese Macau delegation joined the concert to add a strong Hong Kong and Macao style. Their performances of "Thank You", "Little Crocodile", "Song of Fireflies", "Long Live Music" and the "Song of Seven Sons" performed jointly by the two groups not only made the audience feel the deep friendship of Macao compatriots to the motherland, but also showed the excellence of Macao children's chorus. In order to expand its brand influence, this year's "Panda's Singing" cooperated with China International Choral Festival for the first time ancd held a special conert of "Panda's Singing" Chengdu(international)Children's Chorus Week in Beijing, jointly opening a gorgeous chapter of double festival linkage. At the event, the Chengdu Experimental Primary School Little Cherry Choir, Sichuan International Children's Choir and the Russian Joy Organization High Choir and other top children's chorus teams at home and abroad gathered together to convey the message of peace and friendship through melodious songs. In order to deepen the friendship between the children of China and Russia, the children in Chengdu specially prepared the "Panda's Singing" doll as a gift to the children in Russia. This move not only shows the unique charm of Chengdu as the "hometown of pandas", but also expresses the pure and innocent friendship between the children of the two countries.
